Reconnaissance with Namib Naukluft Park 4×4 Route

Land Rover Owners Namibia (LRON) was approached by Ministry of Environment and Tourism to do a recconisance of the Namib Naukluft Park 4×4 route which has been closed for 10 years. A group of 6 Land Rovers and some 14 LRON members went to the NNP this weekend. The route was fairly tuff and requires some major maintenance. A follow up recce must be done to ensure a comprehensive report can be forwarded to MET for consideration and implementation. A great time was had by all and we look forward to the next recce.
